I’m Meghan Paradiso-Alva, founder of Paradiso-Alva Consulting. I help organizations turn big ideas into practical strategies, effective programs, and sustainable systems.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked at the intersection of strategy, operations, fundraising, and organizational development. I’ve built departments from the ground up, led high-performing teams, managed complex projects and budgets, developed strategic partnerships, and helped organizations turn ambitious goals into meaningful results. Most recently, as Director of the Scholarships Office at Cal State Fullerton, I built a new university-wide office from the ground up, establishing its operations and governance while overseeing more than $26 million in annual scholarship awards.
Before moving into higher education administration, I spent more than a decade working in development and fundraising across a variety of nonprofit organizations—from small, grassroots organizations to large national organizations and higher education foundations. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on what it takes to move complex, multi-faceted initiatives forward across departments, divisions, and organizations. More importantly, they have reinforced for me the importance of collaboration, organization, communication, and accountability in turning good ideas into lasting results.
Outside of the office, I'm a wife and mom to two young boys. I’m incredibly fortunate to have an amazing husband who is my partner in both life and family. Balancing a career, a young family, and all of life's moving pieces has taught me the value of organization, prioritization, flexibility, and—perhaps most importantly—knowing what truly matters.
Those lessons shape the way I consult.
I love taking something complicated or overwhelming and helping turn it into something clearer, more manageable, measurable, and actionable. I believe the best solutions are ones that make people's lives and work better—not simply add more to their plates.
I also believe that sustainable change starts with culture, not just policy. A new policy, process, or strategic plan can tell people what should change, but lasting change happens when people understand the why, feel heard in the process, and have the support and shared commitment to change how they work.
Whether I’m helping an organization develop a strategic plan, launch a program, improve a process, strengthen its board, or navigate change, my goal is simple:
